Summary

Ashburnham Insurance required a professional website with a warm feel. With the careful use of select colours, images and fonts we succeeded. Due to regulations it was imperative that all information was easy to find and read on the website.

The original website Ashburnham Insurance had was acceptable but had some major flaws which was loosing them alot of business. Our assessment was showing that users had to click through too many pages before being unable to get a quote and were simply going elsewhere. It was essential that the design we produced was very simple to navigate and placed the viewer on a quote page with the least amount of clicks possible.

Front Page

The front page of our design for Ashburnham Insurance has links to the most important parts of the website such as online payments, quotes and contact. This means that users should never have to click more than one link past the front page to get to their desired location.

Site Map

We produced an easy to follow sitemap for the Ashburnham Insurance website. This not only helps visitors quickly locate a page but also helps search engines spider the website. The sitemap also helps any visitors with disabilities to navigate the website.

Conclusion

Our design has increased the amount of people who perform quotations on the Ashburnham Insurance website which has resulted in a higher profit being made. Users have commented on how easy they find the website to navigate and how easy it was for them to find what they were looking for.
